Rockschool: A Journey to Contemporary Vocal Proficiency
In this post I will tell you a bit about the vocal syllabus I use with my kids and teens students – Rockschool. – a syllabus designed for contemporary musicians. As a vocal coach and singer, I stumbled upon Rockschool when I moved from Argentina to New Zealand, facing the challenge of teaching songs in English. Little did I know that this discovery would change my approach to teaching and transform the learning experience for my students. What is Rockschool?

Progressing through preparatory grades to grade eight and beyond, singers can attain diplomas at level four and level six, which provides the students with an internationally recognised qualification in contemporary vocals.
Flexible Diploma Entry
To enter the diploma level, it’s not necessary to complete all the grades, however, reaching grade eight is essential to ensure that candidates can handle the diploma’s challenging content effectively.
