New Singing Studio space at Auckland Contemporary Singing School❤️
We have updated our lovely singing studio space!
After over a year of visualizing and planning, I have materialized my dream of having a space where we can:
Offer small group singing lessons for kids and adults – Auckland (North Shore)
I LOVE group singing lessons for kids because they have so much more fun in the process! That totally helps them learn faster and better. Plus, it makes it more affordable for parents too!
I am also able to offer small group lessons for adults. As many of you know, even though I love teaching all ages, my specialty when it comes to training people in singing is to train adults from a holistic approach, to sing contemporary music.
Our new space is big enough and comfy enough to make this possible. It is a great way of learning singing for adults because not only do you have personalized feedback as it is a small group setting (2-6 people per group), but also the benefits of learning by observing your classmates’ learning process too. You also have the benefit of having more fun learning and making friends, which always contributes to better learning. But most importantly: learning in a group environment, with other people that have a similar level to you, will help you grow in confidence. You will gradually be getting used to singing in front of others in a safe, positive and friendly environment.
2- offer student music jams and other events
My aim when creating Auckland Contemporary Singing School was to not only offer private lessons but to really offer a complete singing experience for people of all ages.
Through the years my private students have had access to group events in which we can explore other important aspects of singing together, other than vocal technique and songs. Some of these aspects include vocal theory, music jam sessions, karaoke nights, and so on. I consider it crucial to learn in a safe, positive, friendly, and fun environment in order to make learning effective, especially when it comes to singing!
In our new space, we will have the chance of offering these events more regularly, so students can enjoy being part of an amazing community of singers❤️
We will also start offering group events for our younger students in this space as well, such as performance afternoons for students – it’s good to practice with a small crowd before performing on a show!l – and school holiday activities, etc.
3- this will be a space for other instruments to be taught.
Our new studio space has two separate rooms that will allow us to incorporate other lessons in the future. I won’t give you too many details right now as we are still in the planning stage – stay tuned though🤓, but there are plans to offer you complementary disciplines that will further complement your singing ❤️
