Singing studio in Auckland: 2021 changes!
2020 was a challenging year for all of us and that includes my singing studio in Auckland! It had some good things, however, and one of them is that now a lot of trainings and programs are available to do remotely.
This year most of my students at the singing studio in Auckland had the experience of taking their lessons online. This can be a great advantage for you as a singer if you use it wisely. It can mean that you can still have your lesson even if traffic is especially bad or if you just really feel like staying at home for any reason.
But 2021 is here now, and there are some exciting changes ahead in the singing studio!
We are changing our location!
The physical location of the singing studio is changing to the SUNNYNOOK area. The singing lessons are still on the North shore – Auckland area, but hopefully this location will be more accessible for people who otherwise couldn’t come in person. And is so close to the motorway!! Really easy to get there.
Singing studio in Auckland to Auckland Singing School
Yes! We are rebranding. The new name is easier for you to remember – Auckland Singing School -. Jorgelina Perez singing studio is transitioning (slowly but steady) into a singing school and some exciting changes come along with this.
The main focus is still training adult singers from a holistic approach in Auckland, which provides adults not only with a complete singing technique but also with tools to release energetic and emotional blockages and have a healthier and happier life in general.
But we are now also going to be opening the doors to other ages with different singing class options in Auckland and online.
Private lessons for adults
As always, you can continue taking singing lessons for adults in person (North Shore – Auckland), or online from wherever you are!
Group classes
Starting on February 9th, we are opening a group singing class in Auckland, North Shore – More specifically in Unsworth Heights – open to adults of all levels.
The classes will serve as an introduction to singing for those who want to learn but don’t want to take one on one lessons. But it is also a great opportunity for those who already sing and want an extra practice session during the week!
And if you already are a private student at the studio, you get a huge discount to help you fast track your progress!
Lessons for Teenagers and kids 9+ in Auckland
The lessons for teenagers are focused on learning the Rockschool syllabus (vocals) in Auckland. Rockschool is an international examination board that trains contemporary musicians in their chosen instrument.
After training teenagers through this syllabus and getting fantastic results, I have decided to incorporate the curriculum into our own studio.
Through our singing school in Auckland, your children (or you!!) can train through the Rockschool grades 1 to 8, and that way follow a path that takes you from zero to an advanced vocalist.
Lessons for kids 6 – 9 in Auckland
The lessons for younger kids follow a special syllabus dedicated to the younger ones to learn safe foundational techniques and musicality from scratch.
Fun events!
In 2021 we will continue to offer our karaoke nights / Jam nights in which all active students are invited to perform in a relaxed, non-judgemental and friendly environment.
So there is a very exciting year ahead and I look forward to sharing it with you!
