In this video and blog post, I am analyzing singer Jason Mraz and the law of attraction. Jason Mraz is a talented singer and songwriter and his songs reflect an emotional maturity that I believe contributes positively to the world. In this video, I tell you how he aligns perfectly well with the law of attraction and why I choose to listen to his songs every single day!
Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Today I’m going to be talking about one of my favorite singers and musicians, Mr. Jason Mraz.
My name is Jorgelina. And I am a vocal coach in a finger in Auckland, New Zealand. I dedicate my time to teaching contemporary singing from a holistic and integral approach.
Jason Mraz is one of my favorite artists. I actually make a point of listening to his songs every day kind of helps me get what I want in life and I’ll explain a little bit about that.
My channel is about singing and this is singing-related. But, also touches on some other topics I’m interested in and in this case, it’s the topic of the law of attraction.
You might be familiar with the law of attraction and what it says is that when you want something, if you train yourself to feel good, you are in attractive mode and you attract the things you want.
One of the reasons I really like Jason Mraz is because it seems like the guy is super positive, but it actually seems to me that that positivity comes from deep processing rather than just shallow positivity. So I’m going to show you today three songs that are really aligned with the law of attraction and they are by Jason Mraz.
I’m going to play a little part in each video of these songs.
One of the components of the law of attraction is to be able to be present in the moment rather than always running in the past or in the future.
So I’m going to read you just a little part of one of my favorite songs by Jason Mraz, which I listen to every single day just as a reminder, and I just feel better every time I do. This song is called Living in the Moment, and of course, I’m going to link it below.
If this life is one act
Why do we lay all these traps?
We put them right in our path
When we just wanna be free
‘I will not waste my days
Making up all kinds of ways
To worry ’bout all the things
That will not happen to me
So I just let go of what I know I don’t know
And I know I’ll only do this by
Living in the moment
Living my life
Easy and breezy
With peace in my mind
With peace in my heart
Peace in my soul
Wherever I’m going, I’m already home’
And then it continues… this is my favorite part:
‘I’m letting myself off the hook for things I’ve done
I let my past go past
And now I’m having more fun
I’m letting go of the thoughts
That do not make me strong
And I believe this way can feel the same for everyone’
And it continues but I’m going to leave it there to not make it too long. Now this is pretty much my philosophy of life but when things go wrong we tend to forget and this song is a good reminder of it.
This is the first song that really makes me connect Jason Mraz with the Law of Attraction.
The second song I wanted to show you today, also aligns very well with one of the components of the Law of Attraction and it is gratitude. That is one of the things that the Law of Attraction says and is that, if you are grateful for the things you like and the things you love, then you will get more of that.
This song is called ’Gratitude’. again. I’m gonna only read a little bit because it’s pretty long:
and then repeats. They shaped my life. They made me like who I am today. They shaped my life and made me love who I am. That’s right. And it continues. It’s a pretty long song, but I listen to it and I feel automatically better.
Oh, and here is my favorite part:
‘And I am grateful for my fur friends
The ones that follow me around
Singing “Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow”
They remind me to slow down
To kneel and kiss the ground
I am grateful for music
It helps me feel understood
And I’m grateful to Gratitude itself
It helps me look for the good’
I’m grateful for Jason Mraz!
And finally, I’m going to show you another song that aligns really well with the law of attraction and it’s called ‘Look for the Good’. Now, one of the components of the law of attraction is to, yes, look for the good. What people who talk about a lot of attraction say is that in all the things in the world, we tend to focus on the negative ones.
And when we do, we attract more of the same. So if you can focus on the good, and you pay attention to the good parts of your life, then you’re going to get more of that.
Another super long song as always with Jason Mraz, seems like he has a lot to say and says it very nicely as well.
I’m going to read another verse that I really like:
‘Everyone needs sunshine, everyone needs rain
Everyone is carryin’ around some kind of pain
I see who you are, you’re just like me
I see you’re searching for a purpose, guided by a dream
I see who you are, I’m just like you
I get lost sometimes and I forget what I came here to do
I keep on trying
When it gets frightening’
Anyway, those are the three songs that I wanted to show you today. But if you want to feel good and you like what you’re hearing, go to Spotify and research a little bit about Jason Mraz. He has so many good songs that have a super good vibe. I actually do use music a lot just to feel better because when we’re feeling bad or sad, we sort of vibrate at a low frequency. And we tend to choose songs that match our vibration. But if we can choose songs that vibrate a little bit higher, then we’re going to tend to elevate our frequency and feel better, which is at the end of the day, what most of us want.
